Since 2004 and the release of the now classic "Steppactivism", Weeding Dub has continued to produce, recording and performing around the world. Today this multi-instrumentalist musician still surprises with the diversity of his productions and his dexterity behind a mixing console, unique in the dub landscape! He thus creates a unique live experience that appeals to both reggae and electronic music lovers.
After the "Note Fi Note / Dub Fi Dub" project with Vibronics, he released the "Where We Come From" album on the Wise & Dubwise label in December 2022, featuring some fine collaborations, notably with Solo Banton on the powerful "Mad" and his friend Marina P on "Fire in the Belly". Weeding Dub is preparing some great surprises for his 2025 live sets, both solo and accompanied.
Since 2015 and the creation of his own label "Wise & Dubwise", WEEDING DUB has been producing a rich, multifaceted and demanding Dub. If the young generation of Dub addicts are in favour of his most avant-garde titles ("Can't Understand" feat. Shanti D, "Judgment" feat. Inja or the hired "Justice! "), it is titles such as "African Shrine" (tribute to Fela Kuti) or the now classic "Gypsy Dub" with the violin of Ras Divarius that have brought WEEDING DUB and Wise & Dubwise international recognition. Spotted by the talent discoverer label "Sounds Around" which released his 1st album in 2004, WEEDING DUB will then continue his studio research within the Control Tower Records label on which will be released 2 albums "Sound Of Reality" and "Inna Digital Age".
These albums and the EPs that followed, will take WEEDING DUB for the first time on international roads, from Northern Europe to Finland, from Mexico to the Balkans... These first tours, with the producer Webcam Hi-Fi, confirmed WEEDING DUB in his willingness to present his productions in the form of "Live Act".
In 2018, he confirmed his status as a French benchmark by releasing the double LP "Another Night Another Day". WEEDING DUB dig deep into the genre's roots, drawing inspiration from Reggae to create his own music, his own sounds. Reggae lovers or Stepper addicts, WEEDING DUB leaves no one on the side, and even allows himself to go further in sound experimentation.
WEEDING DUB concerts, renowned for their energy and unpredictability, are a unique and atypical experience. Atypical, because if it is largely inspired by the Anglo-Jamaican culture of the Sound System, WEEDING DUB offers with his mini studio on stage, a Dub LIVE, enthusiastic, contagious, interactive, with constantly renewed mixes, appreciated by amateurs of the genre as well as novices. His dexterity behind a mixing console, unique in the Dub landscape, seduces both Reggae and electronic music lovers. It is really on stage, his favourite field, that WEEDING DUB's unpartitioned, inventive and full of musical experiments Dub makes sense....in Wise & Dubwise mode!
2020 marks the collaboration between Vibronics and WEEDING DUB who offer a new project: Note Fi Note / Dub Fi Dub. The two international Dub scene’s well knownproducers had come together in the studio to prepare together a serie of maxis they will unveil throughout the years. It's together on stage during traditional Jamaican "Dub Fi Dub" that they will present this brand new project. Vibronics & WEEDING DUB will alternately mix a track each. A musical conversation mixing new tunes from the album and some anthems productions from both sides of the Channel created these last 15 years. The first maxi of the series was released in early 2020, titled "Hard Living / Never Lie Down" feat. Nia Songbird & Madu Messenger.
At the end of 2020, WEEDING DUB surprises his audience with "This Is Not Dub Music", LP of 5 titles in which he explores for the first time other musical trends than Dub and Reggae which made him known in France and in the international.
On the program of this side project: Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Bass Music, Pop ... For the occasion, he surrounded himself with vocalists from various backgrounds: the rappers SMUGGLAZ (Houston, USA), Marina P and Eva Keyes.
